Terms & Conditions
Please note, that by signing your child up to any class, trial, camp, birthday party or event held at Esprit Kids Ltd you are agreeing to adhere to the below terms and conditions.
Bookings and Payments
Bookings and the one session trial for classes, must be booked via our Class4kids booking system, or with one of our admin team. No classes can be attended without full payment being made prior to the session, if you have not paid for a place then the coach has the right to refuse entry to the class.
After your trial session has been completed you will be expected to pay for classes via monthly subscription. You risk losing your child’s place in a class if you do not make full payment for the months classes on the 1st of each month.
Esprit Kids Gymnastics runs throughout the year, training 50 weeks and only closing for 2 weeks over the Christmas period. The cost of classes however, are calculated over 48 weeks, allowing you a 2 week payment break to allow for holiday's etc. These 48 weeks are then divided into 12 equal monthly instalments
Your payment plan covers all fees for the year and as these fees are split into 12 affordable payments, they are still due when classes are not running in December. All fees are taken by Direct Debit on the first of each month.
Photo and Video Disclaimer
When booking your child into a class or event at Esprit Kids you are asked if you are happy for us to take your Childs photo/video and use it on our social media platforms and for advertising purposes.
Please note that if you haven’t clicked NO on this section Esprit Kids are seen to have been given consent to photograph your child for use in print and/or electronic publicity for Esprit Kids Gymnastics.
To ensure the privacy of individuals and children, full names or personal identifying information will not be used without written approval from a parent or carer.
If you do not want us to use a photo or video of you or your child, please notify us in writing.
Cancellations
Signing up for classes is a monthly commitment and fees are non-refundable.
Should you wish to cancel your child(rens) membership, a letter or email of your intent should be sent to and received by Esprit Kids Gymnastics.
The minimum notice period required for cancellation of a student’s membership is one month.
In exceptional circumstances, it may be necessary for Esprit Kids gymnastics to cancel a class. If this happens, you will be notified with as much notice as possible by email and on our social network and you will be refunded accordingly.
However if the cancellation is outside of our control – for example due to an incident at a venue, extreme weather conditions or Covid related then a refund may not be applicable.
Charges
We appreciate that some children do not always wish to take part in a session, or may wish to attend other events. In this case, you are not entitled to a refund if your child does not wish to attend.
Arriving at classes and leaving
All children must attend classes with a supervising adult. Parents/carers of children in independent classes must be reachable by the number provided.
The coach will not allow children to leave the class without their parent/guardian present.
Disruptive and Inappropriate Behaviour
Children and adults attending classes are asked to be civil and courteous to other members at all times. Should a child or adult become abusive, violent or disruptive, it is at the discretion of the lead coach to issue a time out in accordance with our discipline guidelines.
Holidays
Holidays taken within course dates will not decrease the price of the course. Full payment for the course must still be made and no refunds will be given for weeks missed due to holidays.
Disabilities/SEND
On booking, please give full details of any child with any disabilities or SEND requirements. It is the parent/guardian’s responsibility to notify us to ensure safe and effective teaching methods and standards are maintained. Some disabilities will need additional checks from our insurers and we may require you to provide letters from medical professionals on this before classes can be attended.
Medical conditions
Guardians must update the staff with details of new or changing medical conditions.
Insurance, First Aid and DBS Checks
We have Public Liability Insurance to include accidental injury to any person or property caused in connection with the business.
Activities for participants are covered by Sports Cover Europe Insurance.
This does not apply to parent and child classes, as the child remains the parent’s sole responsibility whilst on Esprit Kids property.
During all classes/events held at Esprit Kids at least one member of Esprit staff will have attended a First Aid Awareness Course and/or have a First Aid qualification. Copies of qualifications and DBS checks are available upon request.
Understanding risk
Gymnastics rooms and equipment must not be used without an Esprit Kids Ltd coach present.
Due to the nature of activities at a gymnastics club, the possibility of serious injury, albeit small, does exist. It is vital that members follow ALL instructions given to them by coaches to decrease the risk of serious injury.
By attending class it is deemed that you accept the risks associated with such participation.
Your participation in any public event, private event or activity listing is at your sole and exclusive risk. You agree and understand that injuries and damages can occur by natural causes or by the acts of other persons or third parties, either as a result of negligence or because of other reasons.
You are personally responsible for all costs and/or risks associated with any public or private event or activity. Notwithstanding anything to the contrary herein, to the fullest extent allowed by law, you agree to waive, discharge claims, release Esprit Kids Gymnastics from all liability and indemnify and hold harmless Esprit Kids Gymnastics, its organisers, hosts, subsidiaries, affiliates, officers, agents, volunteers and other partners and employees, from any and all liability on account of, or in any way resulting from injuries and damages in any way connected with any events or activities.
You agree and understand and intend that this assumption of risk and release be binding upon you and your heirs, executors, agents, administrators and assigns, and includes any minors accompanying users at the events.
I consider my child to be physically capable of taking part in gymnastic classes. I have completed the section on medical details and give consent that in the event of any illness/accident, any necessary treatment can be administered by Esprit staff. If they consider it an emergency they may also contact the appropriate emergency services. By completing agreeing to these terms , l declare that l am aware of the element of risk involved in the sport of gymnastics and understand that Esprit may not be held responsible for injury to my child or loss or damage to their personal belongings.
I understand that the children will be taking part in gymnastics and sports-related physical activities provided by Esprit Kids Ltd. This includes climbing, swinging and fast paced games and activities and as such there may be some inherent risk of injury associated with my child’s participation.
I therefore waive any and all claims of liability and agree to release and hold harmless Esprit Kids Ltd in the event that such an injury occurs to my child as a result of taking part in Esprit Kids Ltd’s activities.
